 URGENT: House Bill Jeopardizes Public Transportation and Jobs

The U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee has voted a provision that eliminates dedicated revenues from the motor fuels tax for public transportation in the surface transportation legislation under deliberation by Congress. As a result, long-term public transportation projects and American jobs are in jeopardy. APTA along with hundreds of other organizations oppose this action and calls on Congress to change this provision.
