The High-Speed Rail Policy Forum: Getting to a Tipping Point for High-Performance Intercity Passenger Rail will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel, 999 9th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
Registration is required to attend this event.
Throughout the U.S., states and regions are taking leadership roles in developing high-performance rail corridors and services. What should the respective federal, state and local private sector roles be in planning, funding, and leading these efforts? Passenger rail experts from around the country, including federal and state agency staff, industry representatives, and transportation policy advisors will be participating in this Forum. Facilitated discussion will help identify the next steps on how APTA can move the high-performance rail agenda forward at the federal level. The Policy Forum will put YOU, the attendee, at the center of the conversation throughout the day, and into the evening reception!
This policy forum is a follow-up to similar forums held over the past few years, posing the questions, "What will be the tipping point for a national high-performance passenger rail plan and program?".
