The first 2012 International ITS Best Practices Workshop was held on April 17-18, 2012, at the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Offices in Oakland, CA.
Another ITS Best Practices Workshop is scheduled for August 2012, with exact date and location TBD.

About This Workshop
The April workshop will provide national and international perspectives on communications in conjunction with ITS and other applications in public transportation to include current issues affecting transit operators, new and emerging wireless services, spectrum and license issues.
The August workshop will further develop the themes of wireless connectivity with the traveling public.
Who should attend: all Intelligent Transportation Systems practitioners; agencies, manufacturers, integrators, researchers, and consumers of future Connected Vehicle technologies; developers and agencies that have or want to implement real-time wireless communications with the riding public.
